eFootball 2027 Season Update Shifts the Meta Toward Wing Overlaps

Konami’s eFootball 2027 season update went live on 22 October and immediately reshaped the competitive meta. Through-ball assists now carry a heavier loft penalty when launched from deep positions, pushing top players back toward patient build-up play and overlapping full-back runs.

What changed in the meta

Full-backs and wing-backs receive a stamina buff that keeps their sprint speed stable into the final 15 minutes, making wide overloads the strongest attacking pattern in Division 1 play. Counter-pressing tactics lose a step of pressing intensity when the ball enters the final third.

The Climax Training campaign starts on 30 October, offering boosted XP for wingers and a guaranteed Epic-tier signing for players who complete all 14 training drills before the campaign ends on 20 November.
