Valorant Reveals Tether, a Sentinel Agent, Ahead of Act V Launch
Riot Games has unveiled Tether, Valorant’s 29th agent, a Sentinel from Chile whose kit revolves around area denial and information control. Her signature ability, Anchor Line, links two allies together; if one is downed within the link range, the other gains a brief damage shield.
Kit breakdown
Her basic abilities include Snare Web, a deployable tripwire network that reveals enemies who sprint through it, and Echo Beacon, a recon pulse that pings the last position of anyone who plants or defuses. Her ultimate, Deadlock Protocol, seeds an entire site with reactive snares for 20 seconds.
Tether unlocks with the launch of Act V on 5 November, and ranked queues will be paused for her first 14 days to protect competitive integrity.
